How-Tos

Send a Test File (IWS Only)

Creating a test file depends on the effective date of the item(s). Follow in steps in the BriteCore Processing section above unless the items are on a future effective date. If the items are on a future effective date, then there is no data against which to create a test file. In this case, follow the steps below:

  1. Identify a client who currently uses the MBRe vendor
  2. Navigate to Policies > Processing > Mutual Boiler Re
  3. Download a file
  4. Copy and paste some of the rows into a new TXT file
  5. Referencing the Bordereaux specifications (Homeowners or Commercial) in the Vendor technical documentation on the IWS homepage, update the following fields
    • Policy number format
    • Named insured name and address
    • Equipment breakdown (or service line) premium
    • Product indicator
  6. Upload the file to the FTP provided by MBRe
